Characteristic

1. High friction resistance and low transmission efficiency (normally 30%-60%).

2. Simple structure and convenient processing.

3. Easy to self-locking.

4. Stable operation, but creep may occur at low speed or fine-tuning.

5. The thread has lateral clearance, and there is an empty stroke in the reverse direction, and the positioning precision and axial rigidity are poor (the anti-backlash mechanism can improve the positioning precision).

6. Wear is relatively faster than rolling friction.

2. Complex structure, difficult to manufacture

3. With transmission reversibility (can turn rotary motion into Linear Motion). In order to prevent the screw pair reversing after being loaded, should provide an anti-reversal mechanism

5. Adjust the nut and screw pre-tightening to obtain high positioning precision (5μm/300mm) and repeat positioning precision (1-2μm), and can improve axial rigidity
